This fixer-upper ranch style home has been one of our most involved projects to date. It's nestled among the eucalyptus trees in a beloved neighborhood in Encinitas, CA, and JDesign Co. was brought in to give this home a whole new life. Very few walls remained standing when we embarked on this custom home project and began transforming the property into this family’s forever home. Starting from basically scratch, the goal was to make the rebuild feel less brand new and more cozy, established, and like it had been there for years. This project, while still in-progress, is full of natural elements like bricks, vintage beams, marble, and wood. The reimagined ranch will have layers of finished carpentry and contrasting trim, giving dreamy traditional vibes with European inspiration throughout, achieving a truly “homey” feel. We're excited to see how this one turns out!
